Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Angle
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is generally done in one to two days. Our technicians work on whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and coloured basins, and common reasons people get in touch are faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.
The work is guaranteed for twelve months. If there’s a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How it works
On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Let us in and show us the room, and we’ll get on with it. The job generally runs to one to two days for a full suite.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, generally until the day after.
How to prepare
- Let the surface dry out before the visit
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
- Ensure the room can be ventilated

What a repair can’t fix
A repair is not right for every job, for example:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think.
Materials we work on in Angle
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured shower trays
Questions from Angle
I rent my home. Can I book you?
Yes. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.
What happens next?
You get a fixed price and available dates. If we need another angle, we will ask.
Is there a guarantee?
Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. We’ll explain what it covers when we quote.
Do you hold any accreditations?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.
Can you do the toilet too?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Do I have to be there?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. After that, you can carry on with your day.
What information do you need?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair will not last.
Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Angle?
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
Typical reasons for a call-out include:
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
Questions to ask before booking
- Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
- How soon you can use it again
- How the room is protected while they work
- Whether there are any call-out or travel charges

Repairing versus replacing in Angle
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so there are no surprises on the day.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We give every job a fixed price from pictures. This is what makes a difference:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- How many areas need work
- What the surface is made of
- How easy the damage is to reach
We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Angle. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what we need:
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Details of any past repairs
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- What it’s made of, if you know
Upload a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your SA71 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
