Our coloured bath resurfacing service in Conwy

A full suite is generally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. We work on coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins, and people most frequently call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.

There’s not much you need to do on the day. Let us in and show us the room, and we’ll get on with it. The job generally runs to one to two days for a full suite, including clearing up.

We protect the room and ventilate it.
Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
We leave everything to cure, normally until the following day.

Pricing in Conwy

Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

How to get a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.

Local landmarks in Bae Colwyn

We visit homes around St David's Welsh Church, The Royal pub and St Joseph's R.C. Primary School. There is a railway station in Bae Colwyn itself: Colwyn Bay station. A little further out are Doll Museum & Model Railway (3.7 miles north-west) and Ednyfeds Castle (1.2 miles north-west). Open spaces near Bae Colwyn include Conwy RSPB reserve and Rhos on Sea Golf Course Lake.

Repair or replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place.

What affects the price in Conwy

Resurfacing from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before you book. We take into account:

Doing more than one item at once
Where the damage is and how we get to it
The material and finish
The size and number of damaged areas

Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.

How to get a fixed quote

You can take the photos on your phone. Just make sure we can see:

One sharp close-up of the damage
A wider photo showing the whole suite
Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
Where you are, by postcode

Most clients in Conwy get their price from photos. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we will reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Conwy

If you manage property in Conwy, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Just send photos for each address and we will price them together.

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so we keep visits short and tidy. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

Honest limits

We would rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:

The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
Items cracked right through
Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
