Coloured bath resurfacing in Banchory-Devenick

Coloured bath resurfacing in Banchory-Devenick, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Our technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays, and people most frequently call us about faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we price the whole job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Why us?

  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • Honest advice, even when it means no job

What happens on the day

A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and tidy away. Plan for a day or two, depending on how many items from start to finish. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and what to avoid for the first few days.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Advice

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Banchory-Devenick

Do I have to be there?

Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time that suits you.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Yes, we frequently do. It can add a little time, which we include in the quote.

What areas do you cover?

We work UK-wide, so Banchory-Devenick is covered. Prices don’t change with location.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

Of course. Check with your landlord; we can send the quote to them too.

What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?

We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. You will not be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.

How soon can you come?

We’ll give you dates with your quote. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

Can you turn my avocado bath white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

Will it make a mess?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we take our waste away with us.

For landlords and businesses

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Banchory-Devenick?

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

Before you book anyone

  • What aftercare is recommended
  • How soon you can use it again
  • Whether a trained technician does the job
  • Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We look at:

  • How many areas need work
  • The material and finish
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • How hard the colour is to match

We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Banchory-Devenick. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Quotes from your pictures

Photographing the damage takes a minute, and it saves a visit. Try to send:

  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Where you are, by postcode

Email us pictures of the damage and one of the entire item, with your AB15 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

When a repair isn’t the answer

Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think.

Surfaces we repair

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins

Can I fix it myself?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.
