Coloured bath resurfacing for Belcher's Bar homes

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Belcher's Bar

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, across whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured shower trays.

We stand behind the work with a one-year guarantee, so you are not left on your own once we have gone. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. Each job gets its own fixed price. These are the things that affect it:

  • What kind of damage it is
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off

Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Send pictures for a quote

Phone pictures are fine. Ensure they show:

  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Any details about the material
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus

Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole suite, we can give you a fixed price without visiting.

How the visit works

The work is clean and fairly quiet. Protection goes down first, then the work takes one to two days for a full suite. Before we leave, we explain how soon it can be used and how to look after it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, typically ready the next day.

How to prepare

  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

Getting a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them over. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

Landlord and trade work in Belcher's Bar

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Belcher's Bar as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it typically costs far less than a refit.

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

Will there be a smell?

Some materials have a smell while they’re applied, which is why we ventilate. It clears as the materials cure.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there is no premium for Belcher's Bar. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Why Belcher's Bar customers choose us

When a repair isn’t the answer

Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair can’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.
