Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Bradley Mills

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. We are frequently asked to fix faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, on whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and coloured basins.

Big or small, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

Why book with us

  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • We leave the room as we found it

How the visit works

The work is clean and fairly quiet. We protect the area first, then the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Open a window if you can
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

Bradley Mills: your questions answered

How soon can you come?

That depends on our diary for your area. Send pictures with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.

Is repairing better than replacing?

In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.

Can you do the toilet too?

Talk to us first. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will advise honestly before quoting.

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.

How much does coloured bath resurfacing cost in Bradley Mills?

Resurfacing from £350. The exact price depends on the damage, so we quote from photos. You know the full cost before anything is booked.

Do I have to be there?

Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. After that, you can carry on with your day.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

Please keep children and pets out of the room during the visit. The rest of the house is unaffected.

Will the price change on the day?

We will show you and explain before doing anything extra. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

What a repair cannot fix

A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Bradley Mills?

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s generally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

These are the problems we’re asked about most:

  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Choosing a repair company

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. We give every job a fixed price from pictures. This is what makes a difference:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • The material and finish
  • Whether we combine several jobs

Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is typically a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.

How to get a fixed price

When you take your pictures, a few simple things make all the difference:

  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Any details about the material
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite

No survey visit is needed: we price from pictures. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.

Work for landlords and builders

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Bradley Mills as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it typically costs far less than a refit.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit to keep costs down.
