Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Brixton
A full suite is normally done in one to two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white, across coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

FAQs for Brixton
Is there a call-out fee?
There is no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.
How much does coloured bath resurfacing cost in Brixton?
Resurfacing from £350. We give a fixed quote based on pictures of the damage. Send a close-up and a picture of the whole item and your postcode.
Can you repair several things at once?
Of course, and it typically saves money. Just add the extra items to your photos and you will get one combined price.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. The technician needs access to the room for the visit, at a time we agree with you.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.
Can you quote from pictures?
Yes, almost always. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.
What do you need from me?
Photos of the damage, a picture of the entire suite and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
Are you accredited?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Brixton?
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
What to look for in a quote
- Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
- Whether they match the colour on site
- What preparation is included
- If travel is included in the price
DIY kit or professional repair?
A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Landlord and trade work in Brixton
If you manage property in Brixton, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Just send photos for each address and we will price them together.
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Greater London and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.
What we cannot put right
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
What we work on
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Why book with us
- Usually one visit, start to finish
- One-year guarantee on every repair
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
- We come to you, anywhere in the UK
See our full price list or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.
What we do, step by step
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and clear up. Plan for one to two days for a full suite. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and how to care for it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.
How to prepare
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
Getting a price
Send us a picture of the damage and one of the entire item, with your SW2 postcode, and we will come back with a fixed quote.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We charge the same across the UK, including Brixton. What changes the price is:
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How easy the damage is to reach
- What the surface is made of
- The type of damage
We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Getting a price from pictures
Photographing the damage takes a minute. Please include:
- Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
- Details of any past repairs
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and you’ll get a fixed figure back.
