Coloured bath resurfacing in Caer-went

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Caer-went

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there is no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, in coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites.

You get a one-year guarantee, the same in Caer-went as everywhere else we work. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace in Caer-went?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. The price depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

What you get with us

  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • A fixed quote before you book
  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • We leave the room as we found it

Take a look at our prices page and guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

Work for landlords and builders

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access.

What we’re called out for in Caer-went

Choosing a repair company

What a repair can’t fix

To be straight with you, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer before you book.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins

How it works

You do not need to empty the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and get going once we have agreed what we’re doing. It usually takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you are welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, normally ready the day after.

Preparing for the visit

  • Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
  • Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price depends on:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • How easy the damage is to reach

Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Quotes from your pictures

Before you send photos, these tips help us give you a firm price:

  • Where you are, by postcode
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings

Email us a photo of the damage and one of the whole item, and tell us you are in Caer-went, and we will reply with a fixed quote.
