Coloured bath resurfacing for Canning Town homes

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Canning Town

A full suite is normally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. We work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays, and people most often call us about faded or patchy colour and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

You’re covered for a year from the day of the repair. If anything is not right, ring us and we’ll sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Landlord and trade work in Canning Town

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Canning Town as well as homeowners. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.

If you manage property in Canning Town, we will quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we will come back with a combined price.

What a repair cannot fix

To be straight with you, some problems need a different fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before booking.

Materials we repair

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins

Common questions in Canning Town

Will there be a smell?

There can be some smell while we work. It fades as everything cures.

Will you leave a mess?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and we clean up when we have finished.

Do you do work for letting agents?

Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as homeowners across Greater London.

Are there extra charges for Canning Town?

Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.

Do I have to be there?

Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. After that, you can carry on with your day.

What happens if you find more damage?

If we find something the pictures didn’t show, we explain it first. You decide whether to go ahead.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just ensure the landlord agrees.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Yes, almost always. Clear photos let us give you a fixed price without visiting.

Common problems we fix in Canning Town

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is generally the colour, not the bath.

The things customers generally mention when they call are:

  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

10 questions to ask before booking

Repair or replace: which is better?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. A repair is priced on what needs doing, not where you live. You will see the full price before booking.

Why book with us

  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • No extra charge for your area

Read our prices page and bath cost comparison.

What we do, step by step

Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take one to two days for a full suite, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Make sure the area is dry
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing

Should I try a DIY kit first?

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.

What affects the price in Canning Town

Prices start from £350. There is no charge for travel to Canning Town. The price comes down to:

  • The colour and finish to match
  • The size and number of damaged areas
  • Access to the area
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first

No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

Quotes from your pictures

Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:

  • Details of any past repairs
  • A picture taken from further back
  • Any details about the material
  • One sharp close-up of the damage

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed price back. There is no charge for the quote and you’re under no obligation.
