Questions from Dalmarnock
What do you need from me?
Just pictures, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, access to the room.
Can you do the toilet too?
Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will tell you what will last.
Can tenants book a repair?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged.
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
What happens after I send photos?
We review the photos and send a fixed quote and the next dates we have.
How soon can you come?
We’ll give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.
What areas do you cover?
Everywhere in the UK, Dalmarnock included. There is no extra charge for travel.
Do the materials smell?
Some materials have a smell while they’re applied, which is why we ventilate. It fades as everything cures.
Coloured bath resurfacing in Dalmarnock without replacing anything
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Our repair technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins, and the jobs we see most are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.
A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Can I fix it myself?
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
For landlords and businesses
We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
Common problems we fix in Dalmarnock
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.
Signs it’s time to call us include:
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour

Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
What you get with us

The process
The work is clean and fairly quiet. Protection goes down first, then the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items. Before we leave, we explain how soon it can be used and how to care for it.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, generally ready the next day.
How to prepare
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Mention if the room is upstairs or in a flat
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
How to get a price
No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.
Advice
Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- The material and finish
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How hard the colour is to match
A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.
Send pictures for a quote
You can typically get a fixed quote without us visiting. To help us price it:
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Natural light rather than flash
- What it’s made of, if you know
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. There is no charge for the quote and you are under no obligation.
Honest limits
To be straight with you, there are a few things a repair won’t fix:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think.
Materials we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
