What we cannot put right
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
Coloured bath resurfacing in Woodlands, done in place
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins, and the jobs we see most are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. If anything isn’t right, ring us and we’ll come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Can I fix it myself?
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. We give every job a fixed quote from photos. This is what makes a difference:
- What kind of damage it is
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- Doing more than one item at once
The price depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your pictures, so you know the cost before you book.
Send pictures for a quote
We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what we need:
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Natural light rather than flash
- Details of any past repairs
Send us photos of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, with your G3 postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
How the visit works
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, do the job and clear up. Plan for one to two days for a full suite. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and what to avoid for the first few days.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
Before we arrive
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Let us know about parking or access
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

Your questions about coloured bath resurfacing in Woodlands
What information do you need?
A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.
How soon can you come?
That depends on our diary for your area. We will offer you dates when we send your quote.
What happens once I’ve sent photos?
We come back with a fixed quote, generally with dates to choose from. There is no obligation to book.
Are you accredited?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Which areas do you work in?
We cover the entire UK, including Woodlands and the rest of Glasgow. Send your postcode with your photos and we’ll offer you dates.
Is it messy?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
Do I have to be there?

Is a repair better than a new one?
Usually, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Common problems we fix in Woodlands
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. The problem is usually the colour, not the bath.
Send us a photo if you notice any of these:
- A suite that does not match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- Faded or patchy colour
Questions to ask before you book
- Whether they match the colour on site
- What the guarantee covers, and for how long
- How your room will be protected
- When it can be used again
Why repair rather than replace?
Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Why book with us
- We leave the room as we found it
- Everything repaired in place
- CHAS and Constructionline accredited
- Work done at your home or business
