Coloured bath resurfacing for Euston homes

Coloured bath resurfacing in Euston, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is usually done in one to two days. Our technicians work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and common reasons people get in touch are faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite.

Every job is backed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

DIY kit or professional repair?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

Honest limits

A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Materials we work on in Euston

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites

Landlords, agents and businesses in Euston

We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Euston as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it costs much less than replacing.

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in Greater London and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.

How it works

Nothing needs to be moved out of the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and start once you are happy with the plan. It typically takes one to two days for a full suite, and you can get on with other things while we are there.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Keep a parking space free if you can

Getting a price

Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and you will get a fixed price back. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation.

Questions from Euston

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

Yes. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.

Is it messy?

Dust sheets and masking go down before we start, and tidy up before we leave.

Can you do more than one item on the same visit?

Yes. Doing several items on one visit generally costs less than separate visits. Include photos of each item.

Do the materials smell?

Expect a mild smell while we’re working.

What happens next?

We look at the photos and reply with a fixed price and some dates. If we need another angle, we will ask.

Do you come to Euston?

Yes. We cover the whole UK and come to Euston and the rest of Greater London. Send pictures and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Do you hold any accreditations?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Generally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.

Why Euston customers choose us

  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • Usually one visit, start to finish
  • A year’s guarantee on all work

What we’re called out for in Euston

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.

You may need us if you’ve spotted:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour

Before booking anyone

  • How the room is protected while they work
  • Whether there are any call-out or travel charges
  • A fixed price, and whether VAT is included
  • How the colour is matched

What affects the price in Euston

Resurfacing from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we take into account:

  • The material and finish
  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • The type of damage
  • Doing more than one item at once

Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Euston. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Send pictures for a quote

Phone photos are fine, there is no need for anything special. Just ensure we can see:

  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates
  • What it’s made of, if you know

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, add your postcode and send them to us. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
