Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in Gordon

Prices and what affects them

Resurfacing from £350. You will not pay by the hour. The price depends on:

  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • Access to the area
  • How much damage there is

The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking.

How to get a fixed quote

Phone photos are fine, there is no need for anything special. Ensure they show:

  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Any details about the material
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare

A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in Gordon

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. Our repair technicians work on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured shower trays, and people most frequently call us about selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

Whatever the size of the job, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What a repair cannot fix

We will not take on work that will not last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think.

Materials we repair

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins

Questions from Gordon

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day.

What happens if you find more damage?

We stop, show you and agree any change before carrying on. Nothing extra is done without your say-so.

Are you a vetted contractor?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Do the materials smell?

There may be a mild smell during the work that clears as it cures.

Do you cover Gordon?

Yes, we do. Technicians travel to Gordon from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.

Do you charge for travel?

We don’t add a call-out fee. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.

Which areas do you work in?

Across the UK, so Gordon is covered. Our prices are the same everywhere.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.

Work for landlords and builders

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in the Scottish Borders and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.

We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.

Choosing a repair company

DIY kit or professional repair?

DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.

The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.

Repair or replace in Gordon?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. Instead of hourly rates, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and combining items on one visit brings it down.

Why Gordon clients choose us

  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • Colour-matched on site
  • One price list for the entire UK
  • Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

What we do, step by step

You do not need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and start once you’re happy with the plan. It generally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you can get on with other things while we are there.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
