Coloured bath resurfacing in Halesowen, done in place

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Whether it’s a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can normally put it right, whatever the material.

You’re covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there’s a problem and we’ll sort it. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

Why us?

  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • Normally one visit, start to finish
  • We leave the room as we found it
  • No extra charge for your area

See our pricing and guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

How the visit works

When we visit, we arrive at the time we have agreed, cover the area with dust sheets and masking, and set to work. The job typically takes one to two days for a full suite. We clean up when we are done and let you know when you can use it again.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. The surface is prepared and primed.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

Before we arrive

  • Let us know if it has been repaired before
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Ensure the room can be ventilated

Getting a price

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

What we cannot put right

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before booking.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

What affects the price in Halesowen

Prices start from £350. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We take into account:

  • How many areas need work
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • What the surface is made of
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it

Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access.

Send photos for a quote

The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:

  • What it’s made of, if you know
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • One sharp close-up of the damage

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them to us with your postcode, and you will get a fixed quote back. There’s no charge for the quote and you are under no obligation.

Can I fix it myself?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that’s fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it doesn’t stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, it’s worth having it done properly.

Common questions in Halesowen

What areas do you cover?

All of Dudley, and the rest of the UK. Travel is included in the price.

Is my repair covered?

Yes, for a year. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.

Will there be a smell?

It depends on the job, but often a little. Open windows and an extractor fan help, and it soon fades.

Can landlords book you?

Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as homeowners in Halesowen.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, so the repair is not disturbed while it cures.

When can you do it?

We’ll give you dates with your quote. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.

What happens if you find more damage?

It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.

Are you a vetted contractor?

We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Halesowen?

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Common reasons people in Halesowen contact us are:

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom

What to look for in a quote

  • Who will actually do the work
  • Aftercare advice
  • Whether they match the colour on site
  • What happens if the damage is worse than the pictures show
