Coloured bath resurfacing in Halton East without replacing anything
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour, in avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins.
Every job is backed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. There is no area surcharge for Halton East. The price reflects:
- The material and finish
- Where the damage is and how we get to it
- How hard the colour is to match
- How much damage there is
A few things move the price: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Send photos and you’ll get a fixed figure.
Getting a price from photos
A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- One picture of the whole suite
- Something in shot to show the size
For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will send back a fixed quote and some dates.
Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. A repair generally costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

What happens on the day
On the day itself, there is little for you to do. Show us the job, point us to the room, and we will take it from there. Most visits take a day or two, depending on how many items, tidy-up included.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the day after.
Preparing for the visit
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

Should I try a DIY kit first?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
Common problems we fix in Halton East
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.
