Trusted coloured bath resurfacing in Hensall

Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Hensall

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. We work on whole bathroom suites, coloured shower trays and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and selling or letting a home with an old suite.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once we’ve gone. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Common questions in Hensall

Is there any odour?

It depends on the job, but often a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum, and it soon fades.

Can landlords book you?

Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

Of course. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.

Is the work guaranteed?

Every repair comes with our one-year guarantee. We will explain what it covers when we quote.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

In nearly every case. If pictures do not show enough, we will ask for another angle.

Do you cover the entire of East Riding of Yorkshire?

We work UK-wide, so Hensall is covered. Prices don’t change with location.

Is a repair better than a new one?

In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it is not worth repairing, we’ll tell you.

Is there a call-out fee?

There’s no separate call-out charge. Your fixed price includes everything.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed price from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.

Why us?

  • One price list for the entire UK
  • Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • Most jobs done in one visit

How the visit works

Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and checks the damage against your photos first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. The work itself takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and we leave the room as we found it.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Let us know if it has been repaired before
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive

When to call us in Hensall

Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.

The things customers normally mention when they call include:

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour

10 questions to ask before you book

DIY kit or professional repair?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Work for landlords and builders

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in East Riding of Yorkshire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting. We are CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

Honest limits

In fairness, some problems need a different fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before you book.

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. We do not charge extra for travel to Hensall. The price depends on:

  • How much damage there is
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • What the surface is made of

Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for Hensall. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Getting a price from photos

You can typically get a fixed price without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Any details about the material

For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
