Coloured bath resurfacing in Holsworthy, done in place
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is usually done in one to two days. We are often asked to fix a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and faded or patchy colour, on coloured basins, coloured shower trays and whole bathroom suites.

Work for landlords and builders
If you manage property in Holsworthy, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we will come back with a combined price.
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover so nothing needs replacing. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

Honest limits
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
- Whole bathroom suites
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. Each job gets its own fixed price. This is what makes a difference:
- The material
- What kind of damage it is
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- How many items we do on one visit
What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed price from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.
Quotes from your pictures
Good pictures mean an accurate price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- Natural light rather than flash
- One picture of the whole suite
- The material, if you know it
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Common problems we fix in Holsworthy
Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is normally the colour, not the bath.
Common reasons people in Holsworthy contact us are:

Holsworthy questions
When can you do it?
We will give you dates with your quote. Tell us if you need it done quickly.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes, for a year. If there’s a problem with the work in that time, we come back and put it right.
Is a repair better than a new one?
In most cases, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. If it isn’t worth repairing, we’ll tell you.
Is it messy?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we take our waste away with us.
Can you price it without visiting?
Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures can’t show what we need.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is included in the price, and we charge the same wherever you are.
Are you accredited?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Can you do more than one item on the same visit?
Of course, and it usually saves money. Send pictures of everything together and we’ll quote them together.
What we do, step by step
We work cleanly and quietly, so you can carry on at home. We protect the area first, then the work takes a day or two, depending on how many items. At the end we talk you through how soon it can be used and how to look after it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.
How to prepare
- Make sure the room can be ventilated
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
