Coloured bath resurfacing in Kenn Moor Gate without replacing anything
A full suite is generally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We regularly repair whole bathroom suites, avocado, pampas and pink baths and coloured basins, and common reasons people contact us are a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.
You’re covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there’s a problem and we will come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Kenn Moor Gate: your questions answered
Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?
In most cases. The old repair comes out first.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged.
What happens if you find more damage?
We’ll show you and explain before doing anything extra. You will not be charged for anything you haven’t agreed.
What happens after I send photos?
You’ll get a fixed quote back, plus dates. You are under no obligation.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.
Can a coloured bath be made white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it is not worth repairing, we’ll tell you.
When we would advise against a repair
A repair is not always the answer, and we will tell you before we start. Repairs will not solve:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
The process
We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you know when to expect us. Once we’re there, the work takes one to two days for a full suite in most cases. We leave the room clean and you’ll know when it can be used.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.
Preparing for the visit
- Point us to the nearest place to park
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
Ask for a price
Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a photo from further back, send them over with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price. There is no charge for the quote and no obligation.
Advice
Can I fix it myself?
It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. You won’t pay by the hour. The price depends on:
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- What the surface is made of
- What kind of damage it is
- How easy the damage is to reach
Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
How to get a fixed price
We price nearly every job from pictures. This is what we need:
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Any details about the material
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will come back to you with a fixed figure.
Repair or replace in Kenn Moor Gate?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. Damage, material and access decide it.
