Coloured bath resurfacing for Kilmartin homes

How we price coloured bath resurfacing

Prices start from £350. You will not pay by the hour. The price is based on:

  • Access to the area
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • Unusual colours or finishes

We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Kilmartin. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Quotes from your photos

You can generally get a fixed quote without us visiting. To make it quick:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • What it’s made of, if you know

Most customers in Kilmartin get their price from pictures. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.

What we can’t put right

A repair isn’t right for every job, for example:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays

DIY kit or professional repair?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

Repairing versus replacing in Kilmartin

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so there are no surprises on the day.

What you get with us

  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • We leave the room as we found it
  • Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
  • One-year guarantee on every repair

Read our prices page or guide to resurfacing and replacement costs.

What happens on the day

Nothing needs to be moved out of the room. Everything we use comes in the van with us, put protection down and get going once we have agreed what we are doing. It typically takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and you’re welcome to carry on with your day while we work.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. We leave everything to cure, typically until the next day.

Getting ready for the visit
