Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Kneesall

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. We work on coloured shower trays, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and the jobs we see most are faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite.

You are covered after we leave: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we explain what it covers before booking. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Before and after: an old basin refinished to bright white

For landlords and businesses

We’re used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will arrange it.

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We will fit around changeovers where we can.

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour with everything left in place. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Kneesall. The job itself decides the price: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

What you get with us

  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • Typically one visit, start to finish
  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • Free fixed quotes from pictures

What we do, step by step

We work cleanly and quietly, so you can stay at home while we’re there. Protection goes down first, then the work takes one to two days for a full suite. Before we leave, we explain the curing time and the aftercare.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, usually ready the day after.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

There is no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote.

Related advice

Can I fix it myself?

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs frequently look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.

Kneesall questions

What happens once I’ve sent pictures?

We review the pictures and send a fixed quote and the next dates we have.

Do you cover Kneesall?

We do. Technicians travel to Kneesall from across the region, with no extra charge for travel.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Normally, if the item is otherwise sound. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We’ll tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.

Can you price it without visiting?

Usually, yes. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed quote without visiting.

Can you repair something that is been repaired before?

Yes, regularly. Removing the old work can add time, and that is in the quote.

How do I book?

Just photos, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, we only need access to the room.

Is it messy?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will tell you what will last.

What a repair can’t fix

We will not take on work that won’t last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

Materials we work on in Kneesall

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. You will know the full cost before you book. We look at:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • How much damage there is
  • Access to the area
  • How hard the colour is to match

No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

How to get a fixed quote

You can take the photos on your phone. Just make sure we can see:

  • Something in shot to show the size
  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • What it’s made of, if you know

For most jobs, photos are all we need to give you a price. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we will send back a fixed quote and some dates.

What we are called out for in Kneesall

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and many are still sound. It’s usually the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Keep an eye out for these signs:

  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
