Coloured bath resurfacing in Morice Town

Coloured bath resurfacing in Morice Town without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Typical jobs include selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, on coloured basins, whole bathroom suites and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Morice Town

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover. We can visit several plots in one trip.

What we’re called out for in Morice Town

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.

FAQs for Morice Town

Which areas do you work in?

Across the UK, and that includes Morice Town. Our prices are the same everywhere.

Are you accredited?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

How quickly can you book me in?

That depends on our diary for your area. Send photos with your postcode and we will reply with the earliest dates.

Can pets and children be at home?

Just keep them out of the work area. We will tell you when the room can be used again.

What happens next?

We review the pictures and send a fixed quote and the next dates we have.

Do you do work for letting agents?

Yes. We carry out repairs for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, builders and businesses.

What information do you need?

Just pictures, your postcode and a contact number. On the day, we only need access to the room.

Do you charge for travel?

There’s no separate call-out charge. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Prices start from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we look at:

  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • Access to the area
  • The size and number of damaged areas

We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Quotes from your pictures

A couple of clear pictures is all it takes. It helps if you send:

  • Good light, ideally daylight, without flash glare
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings

Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the entire item, send them over with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. There is no charge for the quote and you’re under no obligation.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book, with nothing added on the day.

Why Morice Town clients choose us

  • Generally one visit, start to finish
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • Honest advice, even when it means no job

Read our prices page or resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.

DIY repairs versus a professional job

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

What a repair cannot fix

Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair won’t do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites

How the visit works

A typical visit goes like this: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and clear up. Allow a day or two, depending on how many items. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and what to avoid for the first few days.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Each item is left to cure, generally ready the following day.

Preparing for the visit

  • Ensure the room can be ventilated
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
