FAQs for Nag's Head
Can you turn my avocado bath white?
Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.
Do you come to Nag's Head?
Yes. We work across the UK and travel to Nag's Head and the rest of Greater London. Send us pictures for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can pets and children be at home?
On the day, the room should be kept clear of pets and children, mainly so nothing gets touched before it has cured.
Can you do the toilet too?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we’ll advise honestly before quoting.
Do you hold any accreditations?
Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.
Will it make a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we take our waste away with us.
I’m a tenant. Can you help?
Yes, though it’s best to check with your landlord first. Many landlords are happy for a repair to be arranged.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Generally, yes. Tell us what was done before and we’ll plan for it.
Coloured bath resurfacing at your home in Nag's Head
Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is typically done in one to two days. Whether it’s selling or letting a home with an old suite and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, we can typically put it right, whatever the material.
Every job is backed for twelve months. We return to put right any problem with the work. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Prices start from £350. Every quote is fixed and free. What we look at:
- What kind of damage it is
- Whether we combine several jobs
- The colour and finish to match
- How much damage there is
Set against the cost of replacement, a repair is usually a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Getting a price from pictures
The better the photos, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:
- Something in shot to show the size
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A photo taken from further back
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
You don’t need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.
Why repair rather than replace?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.

- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
- Faded or patchy colour

The process
On the day, the technician arrives at the agreed time, protects the room with dust sheets and masking and gets started. Expect it to take one to two days for a full suite. We clean up when we are done and let you know when you can use it again.
- First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
- Each item is left to cure, generally ready the day after.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know about parking or access
- Ensure the room can be ventilated
- Let us know if it has been repaired before

A quote takes minutes to ask for: photograph the damage, then the entire suite, include your postcode and send them over. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.
Advice
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is normally cheaper.
Honest limits
A repair is not right for every job, for example:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send photos and we will give you a straight answer.
What we work on
