Questions from New Inn

Can I add another job to the visit?

Of course, and it generally saves money. Send pictures of everything together and you will get one combined price.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Is there a guarantee?

All our work carries our one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.

Can you do the toilet too?

Ask us. A toilet bowl is constantly wet, so we will tell you what will last.

What do you need from me?

Photos of the damage, a picture of the whole suite and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.

Can you price it without visiting?

Nearly always. We only ask to see it in person if the pictures can’t show what we need.

Do you cover the whole of Torfaen?

We work UK-wide. Prices do not change with location.

Will you leave a mess?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and we clean up when we have finished.

How we handle coloured bath resurfacing in New Inn

We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. A full suite is usually done in one to two days. We regularly repair avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins, and people most frequently call us about a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

What we can’t put right

A repair is not always the answer, and we would rather say so up front. We can’t fix:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly.

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:

  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • What the surface is made of
  • Whether we combine several jobs
  • The size and number of damaged areas

Set against the cost of replacement, repairing typically costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you are paying for.

Send photos for a quote

When you take your photos, a few simple things make all the difference:

  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • Any details about the material
  • Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
  • Your postcode, so we can check dates

Upload pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you’re in New Inn, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote.

Should you replace it?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Why book with us

What we do, step by step

We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes one to two days for a full suite in most cases. We leave the room clean.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.

How to prepare

  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift

How to get a price

We price from photos so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we will come back with a fixed figure.

Our hiring checklist

DIY repairs versus a professional job

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is typically the cheaper route.

For landlords and businesses

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.

Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in New Inn use us as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it usually costs far less than a refit.
