Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We look at:
- How much damage there is
- Access to the area
- How hard the colour is to match
- Doing more than one item at once
We charge the same wherever you are, so there’s no premium for Newland. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
How to get a fixed price
Good photos mean an accurate price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- A picture taken from further back
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- Natural light rather than flash
Most clients in Newland get their price from photos. Tell us what happened and where you are, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote and the earliest dates we have.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
What you get with us
- Same prices wherever you are
- Fixed prices from your pictures
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

Can I fix it myself?
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.
For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
What a repair can’t fix
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
What we work on
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
