Coloured Bath Resurfacing for No Man's Land homes
Coloured bath resurfacing in and around No Man's Land: photo quotes, tidy work and a year’s guarantee.
- Resurfacing from £350
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.
About our coloured bath resurfacing in No Man's Land
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, across avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins.
Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Questions from No Man's Land
What happens once I’ve sent pictures?
We come back with a fixed quote, plus dates. There’s no obligation to book.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
The price is fixed for what the photos show. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
In most cases. We remove the old repair before doing a new one, so let us know about it.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes. Combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down. Send photos of everything you’d like done.
Do you cover the entire of Cornwall?
All of Cornwall, and the rest of the UK. There is no extra charge for travel.
Can tenants book a repair?
We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just ensure the landlord agrees.
What do you need from me?
Photos of the damage, a photo of the whole suite and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.
Are you a vetted contractor?
Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.
Should you replace it?
Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing turns it white without taking anything out. Our coloured bath resurfacing starts from £350. We do not add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

The process
Visits start with a quick look at the job together. Next, we cover and mask everything nearby and we start. It normally takes a day or two, depending on how many items, and we’ll tell you if anything changes.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Once cured, normally by the next day, the suite is ready.
How to prepare
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Keep a parking space free if you can
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
Get a quote
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them over with your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed quote. Quotes are free and no obligation.

Signs you need coloured bath resurfacing in No Man's Land
Coloured suites were fitted in huge numbers in the 1970s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s typically the colour that dates them, not the condition.
You may need us if you’ve spotted any of these:
- A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
- A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
- Faded or patchy colour
- Selling or letting a home with an old suite
Questions to ask before you book
- What happens if the damage is worse than the photos show
- The length of the guarantee and what it covers
- Who turns up on the day
- How the room is protected while they work
What we can’t put right
A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before you book.
Materials we repair
- Coloured shower trays
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured basins
What coloured bath resurfacing costs
Resurfacing from £350. We price every job individually. What matters most is:
- The colour and finish to match
- How much damage there is
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- What the surface is made of
Most people are surprised how affordable a repair is, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send pictures and we’ll give you the exact figure.
How to get a fixed quote
Before you send pictures, a few simple things make all the difference:
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
- The material, if you know it
- Something in shot to show the size
We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through.
