Coloured bath resurfacing in Pave Lane

Coloured bath resurfacing in Pave Lane without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. We’re frequently asked to fix faded or patchy colour and selling or letting a home with an old suite, across avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured shower trays and whole bathroom suites.

We guarantee the work for a year. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Can I fix it myself?

Kits are cheap and easy to find, but many of the jobs we do start with putting right a DIY repair. Getting it right first time is generally cheaper.

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.

10 questions to ask before booking

Why repair rather than replace?

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Pave Lane. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Why book with us

  • Straight answers about what a repair can do
  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • Dust sheets down, tidy finish
  • Nothing taken out or refitted

Read our prices page or resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.

The process

We agree an arrival time beforehand. On site, it takes a day or two, depending on how many items. The room is left tidy and you’ll know when it can be used.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Before we arrive

  • Ensure the room can be ventilated
  • Let us know if it has been repaired before
  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day

Ask for a price

Pricing is simple: take a close-up of the damage and a photo from further back, send them over with your postcode, and you’ll get a fixed price back. There is no charge for the quote and you are under no obligation.

What affects the price in Pave Lane

Resurfacing from £350. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We take into account:

  • Access to the area
  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • The material and finish
  • How many items we do on one visit

There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Send pictures for a quote

Two or three clear pictures are typically enough. Try to include:

  • Something in shot to show the size
  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, include your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.

Pave Lane: your questions answered

I rent my home. Can I book you?

Of course. Ask your landlord first, and we can send them the quote if that helps.

Can landlords book you?

Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders across Telford and Wrekin.

Can I add another job to the visit?

Yes, and it’s frequently cheaper. Send pictures of everything together and we’ll quote them together.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

Generally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. It’s resurfaced in white where it stands.

Is my repair covered?

Yes: twelve months. If anything goes wrong with the repair within the year, we return to fix it.

Can pets and children be at home?

Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We will tell you when the room can be used again.

Is it messy?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and we clean up when we’ve finished.

What a repair cannot fix

A few problems are outside what a surface repair can do:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
