What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. We give every job a fixed price from photos. This is what makes a difference:

  • Access to the area
  • Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
  • The material and finish
  • How many items we do on one visit

A repair generally costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send photos and we will give you the exact figure.

Quotes from your photos

Before you send pictures, a few simple things make all the difference:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • A photo taken from further back
  • Details of any past repairs
  • The material, if you know it

Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.

Coloured bath resurfacing in Pennsylvania, done in place

Everything is resurfaced where it stands, with no new plumbing or tiling. A full suite is generally done in one to two days. We’re often asked to fix a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom and faded or patchy colour, across coloured shower trays, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re covered after the visit. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Repairing versus replacing in Pennsylvania

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before you book.

Why us?

  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • We will tell you if it’s not worth repairing
  • We leave the room as we found it
  • One price list for the whole UK

DIY kit or professional repair?

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send photos.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Do you need coloured bath resurfacing in Pennsylvania?

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. It’s normally the colour that dates them, not the condition.

Send us a photo if you notice any of these:

  • A suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

When a repair isn’t the answer

A repair is not right for every job, including:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Surfaces we repair

  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Questions from Pennsylvania

Will you leave a mess?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.

Are there extra charges for Pennsylvania?

No. Our quotes include travel, and we charge the same wherever you are.

What happens next?

You will get a fixed quote back, typically with dates to choose from. There is no obligation to book.

Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?

In most cases, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it is not worth repairing, we will tell you.

Is it OK to have pets in the house?

Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we are working in. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.

Are you accredited?

Yes. Our accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. See our accreditations page for the full list.

Do you work in Pennsylvania?

Yes. We cover the entire UK and come to Pennsylvania and the rest of Wiltshire. Send us pictures for a fixed quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

How do I book?

A close-up, a wider photo and your postcode. Then we will agree a date.

What happens on the day

We begin by going over the job with you, so there are no surprises. Next, we cover and mask everything nearby and the work begins. Allow one to two days for a full suite, and we’ll tell you if anything changes.

  1. We protect the room and ventilate it.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
  5. Once cured, normally by the day after, the suite is ready.

Before we arrive

  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
  • Keep pets and children out of the room while we work

Landlord and trade work in Pennsylvania

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Wiltshire and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.
