Coloured bath resurfacing in Shoeburyness without replacing anything
Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Common call-outs are for selling or letting a home with an old suite and faded or patchy colour, across coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites.
Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

What happens on the day
Here’s how a visit generally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and clear up. Plan for a day or two, depending on how many items. Before we go, we’ll explain how long to leave it and how to care for it.
- The room is protected and ventilated.
- Next we degrease everything and fix chips.
- The surface is prepared and primed.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- We leave everything to cure, usually until the following day.
Preparing for the visit
- Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
- Let us know about parking or access
- Clear the area around the damage
Getting a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the suite, add your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

Should you replace it?
Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Resurfacing from £350, with every job priced individually. No two jobs are quite the same, so each one is priced on its own. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
What you get with us
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide

Can I fix it myself?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

Prices and what affects them
Resurfacing from £350. We do not charge extra for travel to Shoeburyness. The price comes down to:
- The material
- The type of damage
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The size and number of damaged areas
We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for Shoeburyness. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.
Quotes from your pictures
Almost every job we do is priced from pictures. This is what to send:
- Any details about the material
- A picture taken from further back

Common questions in Shoeburyness
What happens if you find more damage?
It’s rare, but if it happens we talk to you first. You decide whether to go ahead.
How do I book?
Photos of the damage, a photo of the whole suite and your postcode. After that, we just agree a date.
Do you cover Shoeburyness?
Yes. We cover the whole UK and come to Shoeburyness and the rest of Southend-on-Sea. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?
Most of the time. Let us know what was used before and we’ll plan for it.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Generally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. We will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Does someone need to be in?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You don’t need to watch us work.
Is it messy?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
When can you do it?
Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we’ll do what we can.
What we cannot put right
We will always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair will not do:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Send us photos and we will tell you honestly before you book.
What we work on
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
- Coloured basins
Work for landlords and builders
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets can’t afford rooms out of action for long, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.
