Coloured bath resurfacing for South Wimbledon homes

Coloured bath resurfacing in South Wimbledon without replacing anything

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, with no new plumbing or tiling. Whether it’s a dated coloured suite you’d like in white and selling or letting a home with an old suite, we can help, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, coloured shower trays and coloured basins alike.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in South Wimbledon and everywhere else. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Care for the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

DIY kit or professional repair?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.

The process

We agree an arrival time beforehand, so you know when to expect us. On site, it takes one to two days for a full suite. The room is left tidy and you will know when it can be used.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. We spray on the new finish in white or your chosen colour.
  5. Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.

Advice

What a repair cannot fix

We would rather lose a job than do one that won’t last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

What we work on

  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Coloured basins

Work for landlords and builders

For anyone letting property in or around South Wimbledon, we’ll quote for several properties at once. Just send pictures for each address and we’ll price them together.

Letting agents frequently send us photos straight from the inventory. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. There is no charge for travel to South Wimbledon. The price comes down to:

  • Any earlier repairs that need removing first
  • Unusual colours or finishes
  • The material
  • Doing more than one item at once

What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many items we do on one visit. You get a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

How to get a fixed price

Phone pictures are fine. Just ensure we can see:

  • One sharp close-up of the damage
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • Any earlier repairs or coatings
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection

To get a price, send a couple of photos using our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.

Repair or replace: which is better?

Replacing a coloured suite involves a plumber, a tiler and new taps. Refinishing it in white turns it white without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. We charge the same wherever you are, with no extra for South Wimbledon. The job itself decides the price: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Why us?

  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • One-year guarantee on every repair
  • Everything repaired in place
  • We leave the room as we found it

  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white

What to look for in a quote

  • What aftercare is recommended
  • The length of the guarantee and what it covers
  • What happens if the damage is worse than the pictures show
  • Is the price fixed, and does it include VAT?
