Coloured bath resurfacing in The Camp without replacing anything
We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. Most suites take one or two days. Typical jobs include faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom, on avocado, pampas and pink baths, whole bathroom suites and coloured basins.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months. If something goes wrong with the work, we come back. Look after the new finish like a re-enamelled bath: gentle cleaners, no suction mats.

Repair or replace in The Camp?
Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Why The Camp customers choose us
- One price list for the whole UK
- Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor

Honest limits
A repair is not right for every job, for example:
- The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
- Items cracked right through
- Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Materials we work on in The Camp
- Avocado, pampas and pink baths
- Coloured basins
- Whole bathroom suites
- Coloured shower trays
Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
How we price coloured bath resurfacing
Resurfacing from £350. We do not charge extra for travel to The Camp. The price depends on:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- The type of damage
- Unusual colours or finishes
- The material and finish
What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.
How to get a fixed price
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To make it quick:
- Any details about the material
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- One picture of the whole suite
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the whole suite, include your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed quote, not a guess.

Questions from The Camp
What about the toilet?
Talk to us first. The inside of a bowl is always wet and scrubbed, so we will advise honestly before quoting.
How much does coloured bath resurfacing cost in The Camp?
Prices start from £350. We give a fixed price based on pictures of the damage. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your GL6 postcode.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
Generally, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. If it isn’t worth repairing, we’ll tell you.
Will it make a mess?
Very little mess: we sheet and mask everything nearby, and we leave the room clean.
Do you work in The Camp?
Yes. We work across the UK and travel to The Camp and the rest of Gloucestershire. Send photos and we will quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
Does someone need to be in?
Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time that suits you.
Are there extra charges for The Camp?
There is no separate call-out charge. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.
Can you repair something that is been repaired before?
Yes, we frequently do. Removing the old work can add time, and that is in the quote.
How it works
Once we are through the door, we keep the work contained to the one room. We mask off everything nearby, the work takes one to two days for a full suite, depending on what we find, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.
- We protect the room and ventilate it.
- Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
- We key the surface and apply a bonding primer.
- We spray the new white (or other colour) finish.
- Each item is left to cure, normally ready the following day.
How to prepare
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
Getting a price
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them over with your postcode, and you will get a fixed price back. There’s no charge for the quote and you are under no obligation.
