Need coloured bath resurfacing in Victoria?

Coloured bath resurfacing in Victoria, done in place

Most suites take one or two days. We resurface the bath, basin and tray in place, so there’s no plumbing or tiling. We work on coloured shower trays, avocado, pampas and pink baths and whole bathroom suites, and people most often call us about selling or letting a home with an old suite and a dated coloured suite you’d like in white.

The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything is not right, ring us and we’ll come back. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Victoria

Landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Victoria use us as well as homeowners. Repairing between tenancies keeps void periods short, and it costs much less than replacing.

Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

Should you replace it?

Replacing a coloured suite involves new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Resurfacing changes the colour with everything left in place. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Why us?

  • One price list for the whole UK
  • Nothing taken out or refitted
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • One visit for most repairs

See our pricing and resurfacing vs replacement cost guide.

The process

Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. Dust sheets and masking tape go down before we open a single tin. The work itself takes one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. The room is protected and ventilated.
  2. Each item is cleaned, degreased and any chips repaired.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Once cured, normally by the following day, the suite is ready.

Common questions in Victoria

Is it messy?

We protect the room with dust sheets and masking first, and we clean up when we have finished.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Generally, yes. A repair skips the removal, fitting and redecorating. If it isn’t worth repairing, we will tell you.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Get your landlord’s agreement first.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

How do I get a price for coloured bath resurfacing in Victoria?

Resurfacing from £350. Because every job differs, we price from photos. You know the full cost before anything is booked.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

We do, regularly. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.

Do you charge for travel?

We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.

Do I need to be at home?

Yes. We need access to the room while we work, at a time that suits you.

What we’re called out for in Victoria

Avocado, pampas and pink suites were everywhere in the 70s and 80s, and plenty are still in good condition. The problem is typically the colour, not the bath.

Typical reasons for a call-out include:

  • A dated coloured suite you’d like in white
  • Faded or patchy colour
  • A suite that does not match a new bathroom
  • Selling or letting a home with an old suite

What to look for in a quote

  • Whether a trained technician does the job
  • What the guarantee covers, and for how long
  • Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
  • What aftercare is recommended

DIY kit or professional repair?

For a hairline mark somewhere you will never see, a kit may be enough. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

What a repair can’t fix

Before booking, it’s worth knowing the limits:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before you book.

Materials we work on in Victoria

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths
  • Coloured basins

What coloured bath resurfacing costs

Resurfacing from £350. We do not charge extra for travel to Victoria. The price depends on:

  • How many items we do on one visit
  • What the surface is made of
  • How hard the colour is to match
  • How easy the damage is to reach

The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking, with nothing added on the day.

Send pictures for a quote

It only takes a minute to photograph the damage. Please include:

  • Details of any past repairs
  • Where you are, by postcode
  • A wider photo showing the entire suite
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale

Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed quote. Quotes are free and you’re under no obligation.
