Coloured bath resurfacing in Winterbourne Dauntsey

Coloured bath resurfacing in Winterbourne Dauntsey, done in place

A full suite is generally done in one to two days. Everything is resurfaced where it stands, so there is no plumbing or tiling. We regularly repair whole bathroom suites, coloured basins and avocado, pampas and pink baths, and people most often call us about faded or patchy colour and a suite that doesn’t match a new bathroom.

A one-year guarantee comes with the work, just as it does everywhere we cover. Treat it like any resurfaced bath: mild cleaners and no suction mats.

How it works

Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you and checks the damage against your pictures first. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. The work itself takes one to two days for a full suite, and the room is left clean and tidy.

  1. First we protect the bathroom and set up ventilation.
  2. We clean, degrease and repair any chips.
  3. We prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer.
  4. The new white, or other colour, finish is sprayed on.
  5. Each item is left to cure, usually ready the following day.

Before we arrive

  • Have somewhere for us to park nearby if possible
  • Move bottles, mats and clutter away from the area
  • Have a window or extractor fan available

Prices and what affects them

Prices start from £350. Each job gets its own fixed price. These are the things that affect it:

  • How many areas need work
  • What the surface is made of
  • Access to the area
  • Doing more than one item at once

The price reflects the work involved, not your postcode. The full price is agreed before you book.

Getting a price from photos

Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To make it quick:

  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • One picture of the whole suite
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection

To get a price, send two or three photos through our quote form or ring us. We’ll tell you honestly if a repair is the right fix.

For landlords and businesses

Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We’re CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited.

We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which matters when someone is living in the home.

Winterbourne Dauntsey questions

Is there any odour?

It depends on the job, but often a little. Ventilation keeps it to a minimum.

What happens if you find more damage?

If we find something the pictures didn’t show, we explain it first. You decide whether to go ahead.

Can a coloured bath be made white?

Yes. We resurface it in white with it left in place.

Can you redo someone else’s repair?

Generally, yes. Tell us what was done before.

Are you accredited?

Yes, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor. The full list is on our accreditations page.

Do you work for landlords and businesses?

Yes, frequently. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.

Is my repair covered?

Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. We will explain what it covers when we quote.

Can tenants book a repair?

We’re happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.

When a repair is not the answer

Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:

  • The inside of a toilet bowl, unless we’ve agreed it will last
  • Items cracked right through
  • Fittings and taps (these are masked, not recoloured)

Send us pictures and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

What we work on

  • Whole bathroom suites
  • Coloured basins
  • Coloured shower trays
  • Avocado, pampas and pink baths

Can I fix it myself?

You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface isn’t prepared the repair won’t last.

If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and give it the full curing time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

Repairing versus replacing in Winterbourne Dauntsey

Swapping a coloured suite for a white one means new sanitaryware, a plumber and a tiler. Refinishing it in white changes the colour without taking anything out. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. What’s damaged, how badly and how easy it is to reach all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Why us?

  • One visit for most repairs
  • Every repair guaranteed for a year
  • Colour mixed on the day to match
  • A fixed quote before booking
