Do I need to be at home?

Your quote comes with available dates. If it’s urgent, say so and we will do what we can.
Can you repair a chipped Belfast sink?
Yes. Chips to the rim, apron and around the waste are common repairs.
How much does kitchen sink repair cost in Common Side?
Prices start from £95. We give a fixed price from your pictures. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo and your postcode.
What happens once I’ve sent photos?
You get a fixed quote and available dates. If we need another angle, we’ll ask.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
Nearly always. If pictures do not show enough, we will ask for another angle.

When a repair isn’t the answer
Honesty matters more than a booking, so here’s what a repair cannot fix:
- Doors where the vinyl wrap has lifted across a large area
- Doors swollen by water
- Sinks cracked through the base
If in doubt, send photos and we’ll say what we think before you book.
Materials we repair
- Cabinet ends & plinths
- Ceramic Belfast & butler sinks
- Vinyl-wrapped doors
- Composite sinks
- Gloss and matt cupboard doors
Prices and what affects them
Prices start from £95. You will not pay by the hour. The price is based on:
- Access to the area
- The material and finish
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- Doing more than one item at once
A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Send pictures for a quote
When you take your photos, a few simple things make all the difference:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Natural light rather than flash
Pricing is simple: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them to us with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price. There’s no charge for the quote and no obligation.

How it works
Visits start with a quick look at the job together, so you know exactly what we are doing. Then the area is sheeted and masked and the work begins. Allow a few hours, and we will tell you if anything changes.
- First the damaged area is cleaned and prepared.
- We fill chips and rebuild edges.
- We shape the repair to match the original.
- We colour-match to the sink glaze or door finish.
- The repair is polished or sealed.
Getting ready for the visit
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Clear the area around the damage

Should you replace it?
Replacing a sink or door can mean disturbing the worktop, cabinets and plumbing, or finding a matching door that is been discontinued. A repair keeps your kitchen as it is. Our kitchen sink repair starts from £95. What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

Can I fix it myself?
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
