Kitchen sink repair at your home in Kings Norton

Repairs are matched to the original finish, so the kitchen stays as it is. Doors with a large area of lifted vinyl generally need re-wrapping or replacing; we repair chips and dents. Typical jobs include chips in ceramic sinks and cracks around the waste, across ceramic Belfast & butler sinks, cabinet ends & plinths and composite sinks.

Peace of mind is built in: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we’ll explain exactly what it covers when we quote. A sink mat protects against dropped pans, and dry the door edges after spills.

How it works

From the moment we arrive, we keep the work contained to the one room. Surfaces nearby are masked off, the job takes a morning or an afternoon, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.

  1. We start by preparing the damage.
  2. We fill chips and rebuild edges.
  3. The repair is sanded to the original profile.
  4. The colour is matched to the sink or door finish.
  5. We polish or seal the repair.

How to prepare

  • Open a window if you can
  • Tell us about parking, stairs or access
  • Let the surface dry out before the visit

How to get a price

There is no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from pictures: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.

What we can’t put right

We’d rather lose a job than do one that won’t last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:

  • Doors where the vinyl wrap has lifted across a large area
  • Doors swollen by water
  • Sinks cracked through the base

Send us photos and we will tell you honestly.

Materials we work on in Kings Norton

  • Ceramic Belfast & butler sinks
  • Vinyl-wrapped doors
  • Cabinet ends & plinths
  • Composite sinks
  • Gloss and matt cupboard doors

Work for landlords and builders

Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We’ll fit around changeovers where we can.

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

Why repair rather than replace?

Replacing a sink or door can mean disturbing the worktop, cabinets and plumbing, or hunting for a door that’s no longer made. Repairing it keeps your kitchen as it is. Prices start from £95. It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Send photos and you will get a fixed figure.

What you get with us

  • One visit for most repairs
  • Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
  • A fixed quote before booking
  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited

Can I fix it myself?

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

It’s tempting to reach for a kit, but the repairs we redo most often are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is generally the cheaper route.
