Kitchen sink repair in The Fence without replacing anything

We repair the damage and match the original finish, so you don’t need replacement parts. If the vinyl wrap has lifted across a door, it generally needs re-wrapping; we repair chips and dents. Typical jobs include damage from fitting or moving appliances and cracks around the waste, on gloss and matt cupboard doors, composite sinks and cabinet ends & plinths.

All our work comes with our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Gloucestershire. Use a sink mat or bowl for heavy pans, and wipe door edges dry.

Should I try a DIY kit first?

It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The trouble is that kit repairs often look fine at first and then fail, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

A DIY attempt is not a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it won’t stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.

Landlords, agents and businesses in The Fence

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, putting right damage done during fitting so nothing needs replacing. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

Housing associations and facilities teams use us for planned and reactive repairs in Gloucestershire and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which is easier on the people living there.

How it works

It’s a tidy, low-fuss visit. We agree the arrival time in advance, cover and mask the work area, then carry out the work, which normally takes a morning or an afternoon. If we find something your photos didn’t show, we will explain it before carrying on.

  1. We start by preparing the damage.
  2. Chips are filled and edges rebuilt.
  3. The repair is sanded to the original profile.
  4. The colour is matched to the sink or door finish.
  5. We polish or seal the repair.

Preparing for the visit

  • Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
  • Point us to the nearest place to park
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

Advice

When a repair is not the answer

Not everything can be repaired, and we’ll tell you before we start. We cannot fix:

  • Doors where the vinyl wrap has lifted across a large area
  • Doors swollen by water
  • Sinks cracked through the base

Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.

What we work on

  • Gloss and matt cupboard doors
  • Cabinet ends & plinths
  • Composite sinks
  • Vinyl-wrapped doors
  • Ceramic Belfast & butler sinks

Repair or replace: which is better?

A new sink or door can mean disturbing the worktop, cabinets and plumbing, or finding a matching door that’s been discontinued. A repair leaves everything in place. Prices start from £95. Our prices are the same across the UK, with no extra for The Fence. What changes the price is the job itself: how much damage, what it’s made of and how many items.

Why us?

  • Most jobs done in one visit
  • Fixed prices from your photos
  • Same prices wherever you are
  • Work done at your home or business

Our hiring checklist

How we price kitchen sink repair

Repairs from £95. There is no charge for travel to The Fence. The price depends on:

  • What kind of damage it is
  • What the surface is made of
  • How easy the damage is to reach
  • How hard the colour is to match

Rather than charging by the hour, we fix the price before we start. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.

Send photos for a quote

Two or three clear pictures are usually enough. Try to include:

  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • Details of any past repairs
  • Any details about the material
  • A coin beside the damage so we can judge size

You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
