Non-Slip Bath Coating for Dublin homes
Clear non-slip coatings for baths and shower trays for homeowners, landlords and businesses in Dublin. Send pictures for a free, fixed quote.
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Worn-out textured areas
- Safety for older or less mobile people

How we handle non-slip bath coating in Dublin
The coating is clear and textured, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. It suits older people, families and holiday lets. We work on resurfaced baths, acrylic baths and wet room floors (ask us), and people most often call us about bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten and safety for older or less mobile people.
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. Just call us if there is a problem and we will come back. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

Work for landlords and builders
Hotels, guest houses and holiday lets cannot afford rooms out of action for long, so we keep visits short and tidy. We can work around your bookings.
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Suffolk and across the UK. Repairing in place avoids the disruption of a replacement, which is easier on the people living there.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For anything you look at every day, anything that has rusted, cracked or holed, or anything on a coloured surface, a professional repair is worth it.
It’s natural to want to try a repair yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.
When to call us in Dublin
Baths and trays are made smooth so they’re easy to clean, yet wet, soapy surfaces are slippery. The textured patch on an older bath also wears down over time.
Send us a picture if you notice any of these:
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
- Safety for older or less mobile people
What to look for in a quote

What affects the price in Dublin
There’s no charge for travel to Dublin. The price comes down to:
- How hard the colour is to match
- What kind of damage it is
- Access to the area
- What the surface is made of
It helps to know what pushes a price up or down: access, material, the extent of the damage and whether we can do several items together. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.
Quotes from your photos
Most quotes are done from pictures alone. To make it quick:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- One sharp close-up of the damage
- One picture of the entire bath or shower tray
- The material, if you know it
Ring 0345 017 0787, or send us pictures through the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the whole bath or shower tray, we can price the job without visiting.
The process
The work is clean and fairly quiet, so you can carry on at home. Protection goes down first, then the job itself takes a few hours. At the end we talk you through how soon it can be used and how to look after it.
- First the standing area is cleaned and degreased.
- We mask out the area to be treated.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- We lift the masking for a clean edge.
- The coating is left to cure before use, typically overnight.
Preparing for the visit
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Let us know about parking or access
Getting a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: photograph the damage, then the entire bath or shower tray, add your postcode and send them to us. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

Repair or replace: which is better?
The alternatives are a new textured bath or tray, or a bath mat that needs lifting and cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. Compared with replacing, a repair is usually a fraction of the price, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. The quote lists exactly what you’re paying for.

When we would advise against a repair
Not everything can be repaired, and we’d rather say so up front. Repairs won’t solve:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
