Non-Slip Bath Coating for Gwersyllt homes
Clear non-slip coatings for baths and shower trays for homes and businesses in Gwersyllt and across Wrexham. Send pictures for a free, fixed quote.
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
- A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
Why repair rather than replace?
Instead, you could go for replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or a bath mat that needs lifting and cleaning. A non-slip coating adds grip to the bath you have. We don’t add extras on the day. The price we quote from your photos is the price you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Non-slip bath coating in Gwersyllt without replacing anything
It’s a clear, textured coating, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. It suits older people, families and holiday lets. We work on wet room floors (ask us), acrylic baths and enamelled baths, and people most frequently call us about safety for older or less mobile people and a bath or tray that is slippery when wet.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

Common questions in Gwersyllt
Will I see the coating?
Very little: it shows as a matt area where you stand.
Are you a vetted contractor?
We hold CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SMAS Worksafe and Builder’s Profile accreditations.
Can you repair several things at once?
Yes, and it’s often cheaper. Just add the extra items to your photos and you will get one combined price.
Do the materials smell?
There may be a mild smell during the work.
Do you come to Gwersyllt?
Yes. We work across the UK and come to Gwersyllt and the rest of Wrexham. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.
What if the damage is worse than the pictures show?
If we find something the photos didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.
How do I clean it?
Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.
Will you leave a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we take our waste away with us.
How we price non-slip bath coating
Each job gets its own fixed quote. These are the things that affect it:
- Doing more than one item at once
- Whether old repairs or coatings need taking off
- The size and number of damaged areas
- What kind of damage it is
What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.
Send photos for a quote
Most quotes are done from photos alone. To help us price it:
- A wider photo showing the whole bath or shower tray
- Natural light rather than flash
- A coin beside the damage so we can judge size
- Whether it’s been repaired or coated before
To get a price, send a couple of pictures through our quote form or ring us. We will say right away if a repair is the right fix.
Landlords, agents and businesses in Gwersyllt
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Hospitality businesses need rooms back in use quickly, so most of our work is done in a single visit. We can work around your bookings.
How it works
Here’s how a visit generally runs: we arrive at the agreed slot, sheet and mask the area around the job, do the job and clear up. Allow a few hours from start to finish. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and how to care for it.
- We clean and degrease the standing area.
- Next we mask off the area.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- We remove the masking for a neat edge.
- We leave it to cure, usually overnight.
Before we arrive
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access

You don’t need a survey visit. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

DIY kit or professional repair?
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
Common problems we fix in Gwersyllt
Baths and trays are made smooth so they’re easy to clean, yet with soap and water on them they become slippery. Textured areas on older baths wear smooth too.
Contact us if you’ve noticed any of these:
- Worn-out textured areas
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- Safety for older or less mobile people
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
