Non-slip bath coating in Little Ouse

Work for landlords and builders

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.

We also carry out snagging repairs for builders and developers, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.

About our non-slip bath coating in Little Ouse

It’s a clear, textured coating, so the bath looks much the same. It’s popular with homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. Typical jobs include bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten and safety for older or less mobile people, on wet room floors (ask us), acrylic baths and shower trays.

Peace of mind is built in: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we explain what it covers before you book. Clean with a soft brush and a mild cleaner. Do not use abrasive pads on the textured area.

When a repair isn’t the answer

A repair isn’t right for every job, including:

  • Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
  • Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
  • Outdoor surfaces

Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer.

Materials we repair

  • Enamelled baths
  • Shower trays
  • Resurfaced baths
  • Wet room floors (ask us)
  • Acrylic baths

Why repair rather than replace?

Instead, you could go for replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or a bath mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating adds grip to the bath you have. The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, what it’s made of and how many jobs we combine into one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before booking.

Why us?

  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor
  • No need to remove anything
  • Same prices wherever you are

See our prices page.

What we do, step by step

We work cleanly and quietly. We protect the area first, then the job itself takes a few hours. At the end we talk you through the curing time and the aftercare.

  1. We start by degreasing the area where you stand.
  2. We mask out the area to be treated.
  3. We apply the clear textured coating.
  4. The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
  5. The coating is left to cure before use, usually overnight.

Before we arrive

  • Tell us if there are stairs or a lift
  • Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
  • Point us to the nearest place to park

FAQs for Little Ouse

Do you hold any accreditations?

Do I need to be at home?

Is there a call-out fee?

We do not add a call-out fee. The fixed quote covers the visit and the work.

Can you repair something that’s been repaired before?

In most cases. The old repair comes out first, so mention it when you send pictures.

What does non-slip bath coating cost?

Because every job differs, we price from pictures. You know the full cost before anything is booked.

How do I clean it?

Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.

Is the work guaranteed?

What we’re called out for in Little Ouse

Smooth surfaces are easy to clean, but with soap and water on them they become slippery. The textured patch on an older bath also wears down over time.

Get in touch if you’ve noticed any of these:

  • Worn-out textured areas
  • Safety for older or less mobile people
  • A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
  • Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten

What your quote should include

  • What protection goes down before work starts
  • What aftercare is recommended
  • Whether the price covers travel
  • How soon you can use it again

Our hiring checklist

Can I fix it myself?

If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.

A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.

What non-slip bath coating costs

We price every job individually. What matters most is:

  • How many areas need work
  • What the surface is made of
  • How many items we do on one visit
  • What kind of damage it is

Our prices are the same across the UK, so there’s no premium for Little Ouse. What changes the price is the job itself: the material, the amount of damage and how many items.

Send photos for a quote

Photographing the damage takes a minute, and it saves a visit. Try to send:

  • The postcode, so we can plan the visit
  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • What it’s made of, if you know

Email us pictures of the damage and a wider shot of the entire item, with your CB7 postcode, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.
