Non-Slip Bath Coating for North Country homes
Non-slip bath coating in North Country without the cost of replacing. Send us photos for a fixed price, then book a visit.
- Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
- Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth
- Safety for older or less mobile people

How we handle non-slip bath coating in North Country
The coating is clear and textured, so the bath looks much the same. It’s popular with older people, families and holiday lets. If you’re dealing with safety for older or less mobile people and bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten, we can generally put it right.
Peace of mind is built in: each job carries a one-year guarantee, and we will explain exactly what it covers when we quote. Clean with a soft brush and a mild cleaner. Do not use abrasive pads on the textured area.

Repair or replace in North Country?
The alternatives are a new textured bath or tray, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. A repair generally costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Send pictures and we will give you the exact figure.
Why North Country clients choose us
- Repair technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- A fixed quote before you book
- One price list for the entire UK
- Most jobs done in one visit
Read our prices page.
How we price non-slip bath coating
There is no charge for travel to North Country. The price depends on:
- The size and number of damaged areas
- The colour and finish to match
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
- The material
Instead of hourly rates, we fix the price before we start. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
Send pictures for a quote
You can take the pictures on your phone. Make sure they show:
- Where you are, by postcode
- A wider photo showing the entire bath or shower tray
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
To get a price, send a couple of photos through our quote form or ring us. We will tell you honestly whether it can be repaired.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. It does add a little time, so tell us about it when you send pictures.
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, and the work is guaranteed.
Honest limits
Some problems need a builder, plumber or fitter rather than us:
- Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
- Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
- Outdoor surfaces
Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.
What we work on
- Wet room floors (ask us)
- Resurfaced baths
- Acrylic baths
- Enamelled baths
- Shower trays
How it works
Your technician turns up at the time we agreed with you, introduces themselves and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. The work itself takes a few hours, and we leave the room as we found it.
- First the standing area is cleaned and degreased.
- The area to be treated is masked out.
- We put on the clear non-slip coating.
- The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
- Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.
Getting ready for the visit
- Open a window if you can
- Mention any earlier repairs or resurfacing
- Ensure the area is dry
Getting a price
There’s no need for us to visit first. Nearly every job can be priced from photos: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price.

Questions from North Country
When can you do it?
That depends on our diary for your area. Send photos with your postcode and we’ll reply with the earliest dates.
Is repairing better than replacing?

How do I clean it?
Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.
I rent my home. Can I book you?
Yes, but check with your landlord or agent first. Landlords are frequently glad to have it sorted.
What happens if you find more damage?
Your quote covers the damage in the pictures. Anything extra is discussed before we begin.

Do I need to be at home?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You don’t need to watch us work.
