Need non-slip bath coating in Oxbridge?

DIY kit or professional repair?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We clean and key the area properly, mix the colour to your surface and finish it to the same sheen, then guarantee it for a year.

About our non-slip bath coating in Oxbridge

It’s a clear, textured coating, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. It’s popular with older people, families and holiday lets. Our technicians work on acrylic baths, wet room floors (ask us) and enamelled baths, and common reasons people contact us are resurfaced baths that are now too smooth and safety for older or less mobile people.

Big or small, it’s backed by a one-year guarantee in Oxbridge and across Middlesbrough. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

Your questions about non-slip bath coating in Oxbridge

Do you cover Oxbridge?

Yes, we do. We send a technician to Oxbridge for every job, with no extra charge for travel.

Will you leave a mess?

No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.

How much does non-slip bath coating cost in Oxbridge?

Because every job differs, we price from photos. You will get a fixed figure before you book.

Do you do work for letting agents?

Yes, often. We quote for multiple addresses and fit around tenancy changeovers.

Do the materials smell?

It depends on the job, but frequently a little. Open windows and an extractor fan help, and it soon fades.

Which areas do you work in?

The whole UK, including all of Middlesbrough. Just include your postcode and we’ll offer you dates.

Is the work guaranteed?

All our work carries a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.

Can I get a quote without a visit?

Usually, yes. A close-up and a wider photo are enough to give a fixed quote.

Why repair rather than replace?

Instead, you could go for a new textured bath or tray, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A non-slip coating treats your existing bath or tray. A repair generally costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Photos let us give you the exact figure.

Why book with us

What we do, step by step

We begin by going over the job with you, so you know exactly what we’re doing. Then the area is sheeted and masked and the work begins. Allow a few hours, and we will tell you if anything changes.

  1. First the standing area is cleaned and degreased.
  2. Next we mask off the area.
  3. We put on the clear non-slip coating.
  4. We remove the masking for a neat edge.
  5. The coating is left to cure before use, typically overnight.

Preparing for the visit

  • Keep a parking space free if you can
  • Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

Ask for a price

You do not need a survey visit. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: we need a close-up, a wider picture and your postcode, and we’ll come back to you with a fixed figure.

Work for landlords and builders

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.

Builders use us to fix snagging damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. We can visit several plots in one trip to keep costs down.

What a repair can’t fix

In fairness, there are a few things a repair will not fix:

  • Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
  • Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
  • Outdoor surfaces

Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly.

Signs you need non-slip bath coating in Oxbridge

Smooth surfaces are easy to clean, yet with soap and water on them they become slippery. The textured patch on an older bath also wears down over time.

People usually call us when they notice one of these:

  • Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
  • A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
  • Worn-out textured areas
  • Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth

What affects the price in Oxbridge

We don’t charge extra for travel to Oxbridge. The price comes down to:

  • Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear
  • The material and finish
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it

There are no surprise extras on the day. The price we quote from your pictures is the price you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.

Send photos for a quote

Before you send photos, a few simple things make all the difference:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Details of any past repairs
  • The material, if you know it
  • Natural light rather than flash

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With a clear picture of the damage and one of the entire bath or shower tray, we can give you a fixed quote the same day in most cases.
