Non-slip bath coating near Stalland Common

What non-slip bath coating costs

There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:

  • How hard the colour is to match
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • The material
  • Whether it’s a chip, crack, burn or wear

The price depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many jobs we combine into one visit. You get a fixed price from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

Quotes from your photos

Phone photos are fine. Just make sure we can see:

  • A wider photo showing the whole bath or shower tray
  • A clear, close picture of the problem area
  • A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
  • Natural light rather than flash

Call 0345 017 0787 or use the quote form. With one close-up and one wider picture, we can price the job the same day in most cases.

About our non-slip bath coating in Stalland Common

It’s a clear, textured coating, so it shows only as a slightly matt area where you stand. It’s popular with homes with older or less mobile people, holiday lets and families. Typical jobs include resurfaced baths that are now too smooth and a bath or tray that is slippery when wet, on acrylic baths, wet room floors (ask us) and resurfaced baths.

The work is covered for a year after we finish. If anything is not right, ring us and we will come back. A soft brush and mild cleaner keep it clean. Avoid scourers on the coating.

What a repair can’t fix

Not everything can be repaired, and we’d rather say so up front. We cannot fix:

  • Surfaces that are already damaged or peeling (these need repairing first)
  • Textured areas still wet or recently cleaned with oily products
  • Outdoor surfaces

Not sure? Send pictures and we will give you a straight answer before booking.

What we work on

  • Enamelled baths
  • Acrylic baths
  • Resurfaced baths
  • Shower trays
  • Wet room floors (ask us)

Should I try a DIY kit first?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and the old filler has to come out before a proper repair.

If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely and work on a clean, dry surface, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it doesn’t work out, we can still repair it properly.

How the visit works

A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and tidy away. Allow a morning or an afternoon. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and how to care for it.

  1. We clean and degrease the standing area.
  2. Next we mask off the area.
  3. The clear textured coating is applied.
  4. The masking comes off to leave a neat edge.
  5. Once it has cured, normally overnight, it’s ready.

Preparing for the visit

  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
  • Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area

How to get a price

No survey visit is needed: we price from photos. Send them through the quote form, or call 0345 017 0787 if you’d rather talk it through, and we’ll come back with a fixed figure.

Work for landlords and builders

Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

We are used to working with agents and managing companies. Just send pictures, the address and how to get access and we will arrange it.

FAQs for Stalland Common

Can pets and children be at home?

Keep pets and children away from the work area on the day, mainly so nothing gets touched before it has cured.

What happens if you find more damage?

If we find something the pictures didn’t show, we explain it first. The price only changes if you agree.

Is there a call-out fee?

We do not add a call-out fee. Your fixed quote includes everything.

Do the materials smell?

There can be some smell while we work, which is why we ventilate. It fades as everything cures.

I’m a tenant. Can you help?

We are happy to deal with the tenant, landlord or agent. Just make sure the landlord agrees.

How do I clean it?

Yes. Use a soft brush and a mild cleaner.

Is a repair better than a new one?

Normally, when the rest is in good condition. Repairing avoids the cost and disruption of replacing. If replacing would be better, we will say so.

Can you quote from photos?

Yes, almost always. Clear pictures let us give you a fixed price without visiting.

Why repair rather than replace?

Instead, you could go for replacing the bath or tray with a textured one, or relying on a mat, which traps water and needs cleaning. A coating treats your existing bath or tray. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

What you get with us

  • A year’s guarantee on all work
  • We come to you, anywhere in the UK
  • Rooms protected and left tidy
  • No need to remove anything

  • A bath or tray that is slippery when wet
  • Safety for older or less mobile people
  • Bath mats that harbour mould or get forgotten
  • Resurfaced baths that are now too smooth

  • Whether cleaning and preparation are in the price
  • What happens if they find more damage

  • How to care for the finish
