Tile repair in Cantref, done in place
We repair the tile in place, so there is no need to hunt for a matching tile. If a tile moves, it may need relaying first, and we will tell you. Whether it’s drill holes from removed fittings and chips from dropped pans and tools, we can help.
We guarantee the work for a year. If there is a problem with the repair within the year, we return and sort it. Avoid dropping heavy items on repaired floor tiles, and use a pH-neutral cleaner.

Should you replace it?
Replacing a tile involves breaking out the old tile, tracking down a matching tile and possibly cracking its neighbours. Repairing it keeps the original tile. Prices start from £95. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your photos, so you know the cost before booking.

Advice
When a repair isn’t the answer
We’d rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:
- Loose or hollow tiles that need relaying
- Cracks caused by a moving floor, until the floor is fixed
- Whole walls of failing grout
Not sure? Send photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Materials we repair
- Marble
- Ceramic tiles
- Porcelain tiles
- Floor and wall tiles
- Natural stone & granite

What tile repair costs
Repairs from £95. Quotes are free and the price is fixed. What we take into account:
- Access to the area
- Whether we combine several jobs
- How hard the colour is to match
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
Compared with replacing, repairing usually costs far less, because nothing has to be taken out, refitted or made good. Your fixed quote shows exactly what’s included.
Send pictures for a quote
Most quotes are done from photos alone. To help us price it:
- Any details about the material
- A wider photo showing the whole tiled area
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
There is no need for us to visit first. Photos are enough for us to price nearly every job: send a close-up, a wider shot and your postcode, and we’ll reply with a fixed price.
DIY repairs versus a professional job
We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
