Tile repair in North Connel, done in place
We repair the tile in place, so you do not need to find a spare. If a tile moves, it may need relaying first, and we will say so. Common call-outs are for cracked floor tiles and chips from dropped pans and tools, across floor and wall tiles, ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard. Take care with heavy items on repaired tiles, and use a pH-neutral cleaner.

What we do, step by step
Once we are through the door, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. Surfaces nearby are masked off, the job takes a morning or an afternoon, depending on what we find, and we finish by cleaning up and talking you through the result.
- We clean the tile and remove loose fragments.
- We fill the chip, crack or hole.
- The repair is levelled to the tile surface.
- The colour and pattern are recreated by hand.
- The repair is sealed to suit the tile’s finish.
Before we arrive
- Let us know about parking or access
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
How to get a price
Getting a quote takes a couple of minutes: take one close-up and one wider shot of the tiled area, include your postcode and send them over. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.
Advice
Repair or replace: which is better?
Replacing a tile means breaking it out, tracking down a matching tile and risking the tiles around it. Repairing it keeps the original tile. Prices start from £95. Rather than charging by the hour, we price the whole job up front. Damage, material and access decide it, and doing several items at once reduces it.
Why book with us

Should I try a DIY kit first?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, ensure the area is clean and completely dry, and do not use it until it has fully cured. If it does not work out, we can still repair it properly.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.
