Tile Repair for The Dunks homes
Local tile repair for The Dunks: photo quotes, tidy work and a year’s guarantee.
- Repairs from £95
- Damaged tile edges
- Discontinued tiles you cannot replace

Can I fix it myself?
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, a professional repair is worth it.
You can buy a DIY kit for most repairs, and they can make a small mark look better. The trouble is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler often lifts.
How we handle tile repair in The Dunks
We repair the tile in place, so there’s no need to hunt for a matching tile. If a tile moves, it may need relaying first, and we will say so. Common call-outs are for cracked floor tiles and drill holes from removed fittings, on porcelain tiles, natural stone & granite and marble.
Whatever the size of the job, you get the same one-year guarantee. Avoid dropping heavy items on repaired floor tiles, and use a pH-neutral cleaner.

What we cannot put right
We’ll always be straight with you, so here’s what a repair cannot fix:
- Loose or hollow tiles that need relaying
- Cracks caused by a moving floor, until the floor is fixed
- Whole walls of failing grout
If in doubt, send pictures and we’ll say what we think before booking.
Materials we repair
- Natural stone & granite
- Ceramic tiles
- Marble
- Floor and wall tiles
- Porcelain tiles
What we do, step by step
On the day itself, there’s little for you to do. Let us in and show us the room, and we’ll get on with it. Most visits take a morning or an afternoon, including clearing up.
- First the tile is cleaned and loose pieces removed.
- We fill the chip, crack or hole.
- We shape the repair flush with the tile.
- We recreate the colour and pattern by hand.
- We seal the repair to suit the finish of the tile.
Preparing for the visit
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
- Have a window or extractor fan available
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access

Should you replace it?
Replacing a tile means breaking it out, finding a match and risking the tiles around it. A repair keeps the original tile. Our tile repair starts from £95. We don’t add extras on the day. What we quote from your pictures is what you pay, and if the damage turns out to be different, we discuss it before starting.

Landlord and trade work in The Dunks
Builders, developers and site managers book us for snagging repairs, fixing chips and scratches before handover. We hold CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditations.
Rented homes see more wear and tear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. A repair between tenancies is a cheaper way to keep the property in good order.

How we price tile repair
Prices start from £95. We charge the same across the UK, including The Dunks. The price reflects:
- Doing more than one item at once
- The material and finish
- The colour and finish to match
- What kind of damage it is
A repair typically costs much less than people expect, especially compared with replacing and refitting. Send pictures and we will give you the exact figure.
Getting a price from pictures
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- A close-up of the damage, in focus
- The postcode, so we can plan the visit
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
Getting a price is easy: snap the damage close up and then the whole item, send them over with your postcode, and we will reply with a fixed price. Quotes are free and no obligation.
