Tile repair at your home in Whitley Lower
We repair the tile in place, so there is no need to hunt for a matching tile. If a tile moves, it may need relaying first, and we will tell you. We regularly repair ceramic tiles, natural stone & granite and floor and wall tiles, and the jobs we see most are discontinued tiles you can’t replace and damaged tile edges.
Every job is backed for twelve months in Whitley Lower and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work. Avoid dropping heavy items on repaired floor tiles, and clean with a pH-neutral cleaner.

Repair or replace: which is better?
Swapping out a damaged tile means breaking it out, tracking down a matching tile and possibly cracking its neighbours. Repairing it keeps the original tile. Prices start from £95. The price reflects the work involved, not where you live. The full price is agreed before booking.
Why us?
- Colours mixed by hand to suit your surface
- Technicians who travel to you, UK-wide
- CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
- A year’s guarantee on all work

Can I fix it myself?
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully and work on a clean, dry surface, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: they come in a handful of shades, and if the surface is not prepared the repair will not last.
What we cannot put right
Some jobs aren’t right for a repair, including:
- Loose or hollow tiles that need relaying
- Cracks caused by a moving floor, until the floor is fixed
- Whole walls of failing grout
If in doubt, send pictures and we will say what we think.
What we work on
- Ceramic tiles
- Natural stone & granite
- Marble
- Porcelain tiles
- Floor and wall tiles
How we price tile repair
Repairs from £95. We give every job a fixed quote from pictures. These are the things that affect it:
- The colour and finish to match
- The material and finish
- What kind of damage it is
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
Every job is a little different, so each one is priced on its own. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
Send pictures for a quote
You can take the pictures on your phone, there is no need for anything special. Ensure they show:
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- Details of any past repairs
- The material, if you know it
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the tiled area, add your postcode and send them to us. You will get a fixed quote, not an estimate.

How it works
From the moment we arrive, the aim is to do the job without disturbing the rest of your home. We mask off everything nearby, the job takes a few hours, and we finish with a tidy-up and a look at the finished work together.
- First the tile is cleaned and loose pieces removed.
- The chip, crack or hole is filled.
- We level and shape the repair to the tile surface.
- We recreate the colour and pattern by hand.
- We seal the repair to suit the finish of the tile.
Preparing for the visit
- Plan for the room to be out of bounds to pets and children
- Let us know which floor the room is on
- Tell us about any previous repairs or coatings
