Toilet chip repair at your home in Milstead
We rebuild the damaged area and match it to the glaze, so you don’t need a plumber or a new toilet. A crack that leaks cannot be fixed with a cosmetic repair, and we’ll tell you if that is what we find. Our technicians work on porcelain, toilet pans and pedestals, and the jobs we see most are chips on the pan or rim and marks on the outside of the pan.
A one-year guarantee comes as standard. Take care with heavy items and use non-abrasive cleaners on the outside of the pan and cistern.

Should you replace it?
A new toilet means a plumber and sometimes new flooring around the pan, and the matching cistern may be discontinued. Repairing the chip keeps the toilet you have. Our toilet chip repair starts from £95. There are no surprise extras on the day. What we quote from your photos is what you pay, unless the damage turns out to be different, in which case we talk to you first.
Why us?
- Colour-matched on site
- A year’s guarantee on all work

The process
We turn up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before any work starts. Most visits take an hour or two, and the room is left clean and tidy.
- We start by cleaning and drying the damage.
- We fill and rebuild missing material to the original shape.
- We sand the repair level.
- The glaze is colour-matched and finished.
- Finally we polish it into the surrounding glaze.
Before we arrive
- Clear the area around the damage
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
How to get a price
The quickest way to a price is to send a couple of pictures through our quote form or ring us. We’ll say straight away if a repair is the right fix.
Related advice
Should I try a DIY kit first?
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Getting it right first time is typically cheaper.
What a professional repair adds is preparation, colour matching and finishing. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, and the work is guaranteed.
When to call us in Milstead
Toilets and cisterns generally get chipped during fitting, or from a dropped lid or bottle. Cistern lids get chipped surprisingly frequently.

What we cannot put right
We won’t take on work that won’t last, so here’s what a repair cannot put right:

What toilet chip repair costs
Repairs from £95. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We look at:
- How easy the damage is to reach
- How much damage there is
- What the surface is made of
- Previous DIY repairs that have to come out
Every job is a little different, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.
