Toilet chip repair at your home in Sector
A crack that leaks cannot be fixed with a cosmetic repair, and we’ll tell you if that’s what we find. We rebuild the damaged area and match it to the glaze, so the toilet stays in place. Typical jobs include marks on the outside of the pan and chips on the pan or rim, on porcelain, vitreous china and toilet pans.
Your repair is guaranteed for a year, as with every job we do. Avoid dropping heavy items and clean the outside of the pan gently.

Sector: your questions answered
What about a leaking crack?
No. That needs a new toilet. We repair cosmetic chips and breaks.
How much does toilet chip repair cost in Sector?
Prices start from £95. Every job gets a fixed price from your pictures. Send a close-up of the damage and a wider photo with your EX13 postcode.
What happens after I send photos?
We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote.
Is it OK to have pets in the house?
We ask you to keep children and pets out of the room while we work. The rest of the house is unaffected.
Can a chipped toilet be fixed?
Yes. We repair chips on pans, rims, cisterns and lids.
Do you do work for letting agents?
Yes. We work for landlords, agents, builders and businesses as well as householders in Sector.
Is my repair covered?
Every repair comes with a one-year guarantee. Ask us what it covers when you get your quote.
Is repairing better than replacing?
Normally, if the item is otherwise sound. A repair avoids removal and making good. If replacing would be better, we’ll say so.
For landlords and businesses
Letting agents frequently send us pictures straight from the inventory. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we liaise with tenants about access if you’d like us to.
We work for landlords, letting agents and housing providers in Sector as well as householders. A repair between tenants keeps the property empty for less time, and it costs much less than replacing.

What else we do in Sector
Should you replace it?
Replacing a toilet needs a plumber and possibly new flooring, and a matching cistern may no longer be made. Repairing the chip leaves it in place. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. A few things move the price: the amount of damage, the material, access to the area, and how many jobs we do in one trip. Photos let us give you a fixed figure.

Signs you need toilet chip repair in Sector
Toilets and cisterns typically get chipped during fitting, or when something heavy is dropped. Cistern lids get chipped surprisingly frequently.
You may need us if you’ve spotted:
- Damage from dropped items
- Pieces knocked off during fitting
- Chips on the pan or rim
- Marks on the outside of the pan
Before booking anyone
- What happens if they find more damage
- Whether the price is fixed and includes VAT
- Whether a trained technician does the job
- If travel is included in the price
Prices and what affects them
Repairs from £95. You’ll know the full cost before booking. We look at:
- How hard the colour is to match
- Whether we combine several jobs
- What the surface is made of
- The type of damage
Rather than charging by the hour, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access, and combining items on one visit brings it down.
Quotes from your pictures
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what we find most useful:
- Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
- Your postcode, so we can check dates
- A clear, close picture of the problem area
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
The quickest way to a price is to send a couple of pictures using our quote form or call us. We’ll tell you honestly if a repair is the right fix.
When a repair isn’t the answer
Not everything can be repaired, and we would rather say so up front. Repairs won’t solve:
- A crack that leaks water
- A crack through the bowl or trap
- A loose pan or leaking seal (that’s a plumbing job)
Send us photos and we’ll tell you honestly before booking.
Surfaces we repair
- Porcelain
- Vitreous china
- Toilet pans
- Cisterns & lids
- Pedestals
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’re set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, make sure the area is clean and completely dry, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.
Kits are cheap and easy to find, but the repairs we redo most frequently are DIY ones that have discoloured or lifted. Doing it properly first is normally the cheaper route.
How the visit works
We turn up at the time we agreed with you and looks over the damage before anything else. The floor and nearby surfaces are covered before we open a single tin. The work itself takes an hour or two, and we leave the room as we found it.
- First the damaged area is cleaned and dried.
- Missing material is filled and rebuilt to the original shape.
- We sand the repair level.
- We colour-match and finish the glaze.
- The repair is polished so it blends in.
Getting ready for the visit
- Tell us about parking, stairs or access
- Let us know if it has been repaired before
- Keep children and pets away from the room on the day
