UPVC repair for Cliffe homes

Prices and what affects them

Repairs from £95. A fixed quote means you know the cost before booking. We look at:

  • What kind of damage it is
  • Where the damage is and how we get to it
  • How much damage there is
  • How hard the colour is to match

Instead of hourly rates, we price the entire job up front. It depends on the damage, the material and access.

Quotes from your pictures

When you take your photos, a few simple things make all the difference:

  • A close-up of the damage, in focus
  • Daylight if possible, and no flash reflection
  • One picture of the entire window, door or sill
  • Where you are, by postcode

Upload a photo of the damage and a wider shot of the whole item, and tell us you are in Cliffe, and we’ll come back with a fixed quote.

uPVC repair in Cliffe without replacing anything

We fill and refinish the damage so it blends into the frame, woodgrain finishes included. We also do snagging repairs for builders. We’re frequently asked to fix damage during building work and burns on sills, in doors & door panels, white uPVC and coloured and woodgrain uPVC.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months, and the guarantee is the same wherever you live. We return to put right any problem with the work. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth are all it needs. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners.

Cliffe questions

Is it safe with children and pets around?

Yes, as long as they stay out of the room we’re working in. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to use again.

Do you come to Cliffe?

Yes. We cover the whole UK and come to Cliffe and the rest of East Sussex. Send photos and we’ll quote, or call 0345 017 0787.

Can you match woodgrain uPVC?

Yes. We recreate the colour and grain by hand.

Do I have to be there?

We need someone to let us in. After that, you can carry on with your day.

What happens once I’ve sent pictures?

We check the damage, the material and your postcode, then reply with a quote with dates.

Can you repair several things at once?

Of course, and it generally saves money. Just add the extra items to your photos and we will quote them together.

How quickly can you book me in?

Your quote comes with available dates. Tell us if you need it done quickly.

Do you cover the entire of East Sussex?

Everywhere in the UK, Cliffe included. There is no extra charge for travel.

Repairing versus replacing in Cliffe

Replacing the frame or sill is a much bigger job, and it may not match the rest after years of weathering. Repairing the damage keeps the original. Our uPVC repair starts from £95. What it costs depends on how much damage there is and what kind, the material and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so there are no surprises on the day.

Why book with us

  • CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor accredited
  • Colour mixed on the day to match

How the visit works

Expect a friendly, tidy visit. We confirm the time with you beforehand, protect the area, then carry out the work, which normally takes a morning or an afternoon. If we find something your pictures didn’t show, we’ll explain it before carrying on.

  1. First the frame or panel is cleaned.
  2. Next we fill the damage.
  3. We sand the repair smooth.
  4. We match the colour, including woodgrain finishes.
  5. We blend the repair into the surrounding surface.

Preparing for the visit

  • Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
  • Let us know about parking or access
  • Let us know which floor the room is on

Advice

Landlord and trade work in Cliffe

For anyone letting property in or around Cliffe, we will quote for several properties at once. Send photos for each one and we will come back with a combined price.

For developers and builders, we fix damage before handover, saving last-minute replacements. Several plots can be done in one visit.

What we cannot put right

We would rather lose a job than do one that will not last, so here’s what a repair can’t put right:

  • Failed or misted double glazing units
  • Broken locks, hinges or mechanisms
  • Frames that are warped or out of square

Not sure? Send pictures and we’ll give you a straight answer.

What we work on

  • Coloured and woodgrain uPVC
  • Doors & door panels
  • Window frames & sills
  • White uPVC
  • Conservatory frames

Can I fix it myself?

We understand the appeal of fixing it yourself. The risk is that a kit repair hides the damage for a while, then fails, and then the old filler has to be removed first.

A DIY attempt isn’t a disaster. We remove the old filler and start again, so it does not stop a professional repair. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
