Bath re-enamelling & resurfacing in East End, Essex
Full bath re-enamelling and resurfacing at your home in East End, with a one-year guarantee on every repair.
- Resurfacing from £350
- Lots of chips and rust spots
- Thin, worn enamel in places

How we handle bath re-enamelling in East End
We re-enamel plenty of period and roll-top baths, which would be difficult and expensive to replace. Resurfacing them in place keeps the original bath. Our technicians work on cast iron baths, acrylic baths and pressed steel baths, and common reasons people get in touch are wear marks under the taps and lots of chips and rust spots.
You are covered for a year from the day of the repair. If anything isn’t right, ring us and we will sort it.

How we price bath re-enamelling
Prices start from £350. There’s no area surcharge for East End. What changes the price is:
- Unusual colours or finishes
- How many areas need work
- Any earlier repairs that need removing first
- How easy the damage is to reach
A repair usually costs much less than people expect, particularly next to the cost of replacement. Photos let us give you the exact figure.
Quotes from your photos
The better the pictures, the more accurate the price. Here’s what helps:
- One picture of the entire bath
- A coin or ruler next to the damage for scale
- Any earlier repairs or coatings
- Any details about the material
Most clients in East End get their price from photos. Add a line about what happened and your postcode, and we’ll send back a fixed quote and some dates.
Your questions about bath re-enamelling in East End
Will there be a smell?
Expect a mild smell while we are working that clears as it cures.
What happens next?
You get a fixed price and available dates. If anything’s unclear, we will ask for another photo.
Can you do the outside of a roll-top?
Yes. We can do the inside and outside.
It’s been repaired before. Can you still fix it?
Yes, we frequently do. Removing the old work can add time, and that’s in the quote.
Will it make a mess?
No. The work area is masked and covered, and we leave the room clean.
What do you need from me?
Photos of the damage, a photo of the whole bath and your postcode. Then we’ll agree a date.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing?
In most cases, yes. Replacement brings removal, refitting and making good, which a repair avoids. We’ll be honest if it’s not worth it.
Do I need to be at home?
Someone needs to let us in and show us the job. You don’t need to watch us work.
How the visit works
Here’s how a visit typically runs: we arrive on time, protect everything around the work area, carry out the work and clear up. Allow most of the day. Before leaving, we tell you when it can be used and how to look after it.
- We check the bath and agree the finish with you.
- Everything around the bath is masked and covered.
- We degrease the bath, fix any damage and key the surface.
- Primer and finish coats are applied.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
How to prepare
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Have a window or extractor fan available
Getting a price
We price from pictures so you do not have to wait in for a survey. Use the quote form, or ring 0345 017 0787 to talk it through, and you will get a fixed figure back.

Repair or replace: which is better?
A replacement often means several trades over several days. Re-enamelling is one technician, normally one day, and the bath is usable the day after. Prices start from £350. No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all play a part, and combining jobs on one visit brings the cost down.

Different materials, different repairs
Pressed steel
Pressed steel baths take a new finish well, as long as any rust is dealt with first. Steel frequently rusts by the plughole, so we pay close attention there.
Acrylic
Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it needs firm support underneath. Repairs to cracks are reinforced from the back.
DIY kit or professional repair?
If you’ve already tried a DIY fix, that is fine. We take the old repair out and do it properly, so it will not stop us repairing it. Just mention it when you send pictures, as it can add time.
If you do try a kit, read the instructions carefully, and don’t use it until it has fully cured. If it fails, we can still put it right.

Landlords, agents and businesses in East End
We carry out planned and one-off repairs for housing associations and facilities teams in Essex and across the UK. A repair avoids taking out and refitting, which matters when someone is living in the home.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing things at every changeover adds up. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
