About our bath re-enamelling in Findon
The bath stays where it is, so your taps, tiles and plumbing are left alone. Most baths are done in one visit, with the bath ready to use the following day. Our technicians work on acrylic baths, basins & shower trays and Victorian roll-tops, and people most frequently call us about an old resurfacing that’s failing and a dull, rough surface that won’t come clean.
All of our repairs are guaranteed for twelve months in Findon and everywhere else. We return to put right any problem with the work.

What a repair cannot fix
Some jobs are not right for a repair, including:
- Damage hidden under a previous coating, until it’s stripped back
- Steel that has corroded right through
- A bath split right through the body
Send us pictures and we will tell you honestly before you book.
What we work on
- Pressed steel baths
- Cast iron baths
- Basins & shower trays
- Acrylic baths
- Victorian roll-tops
Keeping it looking good
After the repair has cured, a few habits help it last:
- Avoid suction-cup mats
- Use washing-up liquid and a soft cloth
- A quick wipe after use keeps limescale away
- Rinse off hair dye, oils and bath bombs right away
Wait for the curing time we give you before the first bath. Then, gentle cleaning with a soft cloth is enough.
If a previous coating is starting to peel, do not pick at it. Moisture gets underneath and makes it worse, so have it stripped and resurfaced.
Different materials, different repairs
Cast iron
Cast iron baths are so heavy that repairing in place makes obvious sense. The enamel is the part that wears or chips, and that is what we repair.
Acrylic
We resurface acrylic baths as well, with a coating system suited to acrylic. It must be solid and not flex underfoot.
For landlords and businesses
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out photos. You can have a price before you arrange access, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
If you manage property in Findon, we can repair and quote for several addresses together. Just send pictures for each address and we will price them together.
What happens on the day
A typical visit goes like this: we arrive at the agreed slot, sheet and mask the area around the job, carry out the work and clear up. Allow most of the day from start to finish. Before we go, we will explain how long to leave it and how to look after it.
- We check the bath and agree the finish with you.
- Everything around the bath is masked and covered.
- The bath is degreased, repaired and keyed.
- We apply the primer and then the finish coats.
- We remove the masking, tidy up and give you the curing time.
Getting ready for the visit
- Open a window if you can
- Avoid using the area for a few hours before we arrive
- Clear the area around the damage
How to get a price
A quote takes minutes to ask for: take one close-up and one wider shot of the bath, add your postcode and send them to us. What comes back is a fixed price, not a guess.

DIY kit or professional repair?
If you are set on a kit, follow its instructions closely, and give it the full curing time. If it fails, we can still put it right.
DIY kits are sold for most surfaces, and they can tidy up a tiny mark. Where they fall down is colour and preparation: kits come in a few standard shades, and without proper cleaning and keying the filler frequently lifts.
Do you need bath re-enamelling in Findon?
Sometimes it’s an earlier resurfacing that has failed, peeling around the waste or bubbling. Failing coatings are stripped back before we resurface.
People typically call us after spotting one of these:
- Stains that won’t shift
- Chips and rust in more than one place
- A bath that stays dull however much you clean it
- Worn patches where water runs and sits
