Landlords, agents and businesses in Aston End
We regularly price jobs from inventory or check-out pictures. That means we can quote before you even visit the property, and we can arrange access with the tenant directly if that helps.
Rental properties take more wear, and replacing items every time a tenant leaves is expensive. Repairing between tenants keeps the property presentable for less.
Bath repair in Aston End, done in place
We repair just the damaged spot and colour-match it to the bath, which costs far less than replacing a fitted bath. Most baths can be used again the day after. Typical jobs include holes from dropped items and chips on the rim or sides, in acrylic, pressed steel enamel and roll-top & freestanding.
Big or small, you get the same one-year guarantee.

Keeping it looking good
Once the work has cured, treat it gently:
- Do not leave razors or cans standing in the bath
- Check that an acrylic bath doesn’t move when you stand in it
- Keep abrasive pads and gritty cleaners away from the bath
- Get a dripping tap fixed promptly
Look after the repair the same way as the bath: warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft cloth. Avoid scourers and gritty cream cleaners.
Tape over a fresh chip or crack until it’s repaired, so water can’t get in. Remove it before the repair.
Why repair rather than replace?
A repair makes sense whenever the damage is localised. It costs far less than a new bath plus fitting, it takes one visit, and the bathroom stays exactly as it is. Repairs from £95, with every job priced individually. What it costs depends on the type and amount of damage, what it’s made of and how many items we do on one visit. We give a fixed quote from your pictures, so you know the cost before you book.
What you get with us

What your bath is made of matters
Acrylic
Acrylic baths are moulded sheet reinforced underneath. They do not rust, but they can crack, scratch or be holed, and a crack only stays repaired if it’s supported underneath.
Pressed steel
Steel baths and trays have a thin metal body under the enamel. Once a chip exposes it, rust follows quickly, so we treat and seal the metal before filling.
Can I fix it myself?
The difference between a kit and a professional repair is mostly in the preparation and colour. We prepare the area properly, mix the colour on site and polish the finish to match, then guarantee it for a year.
A kit can be fine for a tiny mark out of sight. For damage in plain view, cracks, holes or rust, or coloured finishes, it’s worth having it done properly.
Prices and what affects them
Repairs from £95. There are no hourly rates or hidden extras. The price is based on:
- How many items we do on one visit
- How many areas need work
- How hard the colour is to match
- Access to the area
No two jobs are quite the same, so we price each one individually. The size and type of damage, the material and access all make a difference, and doing several things on one visit costs less than separate visits.
Getting a price from pictures
Before you send photos, a few simple things make all the difference:
- Any details about the material
- Natural light rather than flash
- Where you are, by postcode
- A photo taken from further back
To get a price, send two or three pictures through our quote form or call us. We will say immediately whether it can be repaired.

What happens on the day
You don’t need to empty the room beforehand. Everything we use comes in the van with us, lay protective sheets and get going once we have agreed what we’re doing. Most jobs take a few hours, and you can get on with other things while we’re there.
- We start by looking at the damage and confirming the plan with you.
- Loose enamel, rust and dirt are removed so the repair can bond.
- The damage is filled in layers and shaped to the curve of the bath.
- The colour is tinted by hand until it matches.
- The repair is polished to the same gloss as the bath and left to cure.
Getting ready for the visit
- Clear toiletries, mats and anything else from around the area
- Mention any parking restrictions or tricky access
- Keep pets and children out of the room while we work
